Last summer, two paramotor pilots flew 2000 kilometers from Prince Rupert to Nelson, British Columbia, creating an eye-opening documentary of what mass deforestation looks like today while bringing together the perspectives of people from all sides of the forestry debate. ABOVE AND BEYOND CANADA: Having recently completed an incredible 2000 km flight across British Columbia, I will inspire millions of Canadians this summer, setting the World Powered-Paragliding Distance Record by flying 10,000 km across Canada. From west to east, I will be landing at youth camps leaving children with unforgettable presentations on flight and realizing their own dreams. Wrapping up each visit up with an interactive program, children will arrange into large formations to be part of a stunning aerial photograph before I fly off. Photographs taken will be presented in a beautiful photo documentary of the journey; presented on-line and available as a book released prior to Christmas of 2009, the proceeds from which will be donated to sending underprivileged Canadian children to camp the following summer.
